Printable Bunco Score Sheets
This free Bunco score sheet puts a table tally and 4 player score cards on 1 page. Print a page for each table of 4, cut along the dashed lines and hand out the cards.
What is on the sheet
The sheet is our own layout, 1 page for 1 table of 4. A short note at the top says how to use it. Dashed lines show where to cut.
- The table tally, for the table’s scorekeeper. It has spaces for the table number and the set, and a name line for each of the 2 teams.
- The tally has a row for each of the 6 rounds, labeled Roll 1s to Roll 6s. Each team has a Points space and a Won box in every row.
- A reminder of how a roll scores: 1 point for each die showing the round’s number, 21 for a Bunco, 5 for a mini Bunco.
- 4 score cards, 1 for each player. Each has a name line and a box for each of the 6 rounds to mark W or L. Below those are spaces for Wins, Losses, Buncos and Mini Buncos.
How to fill it in
- Write the table number and the set number on the table tally. Partners change as players move, so the name lines on the tally are optional. Each player writes their name on a score card.
- In round 1, 1s score. The scorekeeper writes each team’s points in the Points space for round 1 as the turns are played.
- When the round ends, the scorekeeper ticks the Won box for the team with more points. Every team starts the next round at 0.
- Each player marks W or L for that round on their own score card. A player who rolled a Bunco or a mini Bunco makes a tally mark in that space.
- Play rounds 2 to 6 the same way, with 2s scoring in round 2, and so on up to 6s.
- After round 6, each player counts their W marks and L marks and writes the totals in Wins and Losses. Use a new tally and new cards for the next set.
Scoring at a glance
| The roll | Points | Then |
|---|---|---|
| Each die showing the round’s number | 1 for each die | Roll again |
| All 3 dice show the round’s number (a Bunco) | 21 | Roll again. At the head table, also ring the bell |
| Three of a kind of another number (a mini Bunco) | 5 | Roll again |
| No die shows the round’s number and the dice do not all match | 0 | Pass the dice to your left |
| Mark | When you write it |
|---|---|
| W on the line for the round | Your team won the round at your table |
| L on the line for the round | Your team lost the round at your table |
| A tally mark beside Buncos | You rolled a Bunco yourself. One mark for each |
| A tally mark beside mini Buncos | You rolled a mini Bunco, if your sheet has the space |
Only the player who rolled a Bunco makes the tally mark for it. Their partner shares the round’s points and the W, but not the Bunco.
Keep score on a phone instead
The Bunco scorekeeper keeps one table’s two teams through a set of 6 rounds. It shows the round’s number, adds the points from each roll to the team that rolled, with 21 for a Bunco and 5 for a mini Bunco, and counts each team’s Buncos.
Printing tips
- The sheet is 1 page for US Letter paper, in portrait.
- On A4 paper, choose fit to page in the print box.
- Print 1 page for each table of 4 and for each set. A usual party of 12 has 3 tables, so 3 tables playing 4 sets need 12 pages.
- Cut along the dashed lines before the game so each player gets their own card. Bring pencils.
The full rules
The sheet only records the score. If you need to learn the game or settle a question, the full rules are on their own page.
Questions
How many points is a Bunco?
21. A Bunco is all 3 dice showing the round’s number, such as three 5s in round 5. Call out “Bunco” to claim it. The 21 points go to your team’s score for the round, and you make a tally mark on your own score card.
How many points is three of a kind of another number in Bunco?
5 points. Three of a kind that does not match the round’s number, such as three 6s in round 4, is a mini Bunco. It counts as a scoring roll, so you roll again.
How many points does each die score in Bunco?
1 point for each die showing the round’s number. You do not add up the numbers on the dice. In round 2, a roll of 2, 2 and 6 scores 2 points, not 10.
How many rounds are in a game of Bunco?
A set is 6 rounds, one for each number on a die, starting with 1s. A party usually plays 2 to 4 sets. The sheet holds 1 set, so use new cards and a new tally for each set.
Does a Bunco end the round?
Only at the head table, where a Bunco puts a team at 21 or more. The player rings the bell and the round ends, but that player rolls on until a roll scores nothing. At other tables the player scores 21 and keeps rolling.
Who wins at the end of a Bunco night?
There are usually several winners. The host chooses prizes, such as most wins, most Buncos, most losses, and wins and losses equal. Count each player’s W marks, L marks and Buncos from their score card.
